Throughout your time at The Note Room Academy of Music and Arts, you will traverse a unique and thorough learning experience tailored to what suits your learning process best. We encourage our students to explore artistic interests and ideas in tandem with our curriculum.
Curriculum goals
Read and write sheet music, with a full understanding of all notations
Break down a musical piece for learning and interpretation from sheet music
Play and transcribe musical elements by ear
Utilize fine motor skills
Compose musical pieces
Embellish melodies with improvisational techniques
The things you learn here will equip you to take on the world from a new point of view and become a capable performer individually and cooperatively.
Throughout the year, you will have a multitude of performance opportunities to showcase your progress and gain experience in front of an audience. We also partner with the Arizona Study Program and the Phoenix Music Teachers Association in order to provide you with opportunities for elite scholarships and experience alongside acclaimed professionals.
